Shraddha Patel : Abhinav Patel’s Wife
Age: 30 years old
Occupation : Stay at home mom
She was born into a middle class Gujarati family settled in Delhi, Shraddha was married off soon after she finished her Masters in Economics from Miranda House. Abhinav was quite a ‘good deal’ as her friends had put it at that time. He was already on his way up on the corporate ladder and he was quite the charmer when he chose to be. They had two lovely children together and he had proved to be a doting father.
However, lately, Shraddha was beginning to question whether all was well in her lovely little paradise. Her suspicions were first sowed when Abhinav behaved awkwardly around one of his female colleagues when she accompanied him to one of the many office parties. And then, he spent days after that, showering her with extra attention. She hated to be the suspicious housewife who spends her entire waking hours worrying about her husband’s fidelity. However, she just couldn’t help it. She was slowly, but steadily turning into one.
What do you think Shraddha should do about her suspicions? Should she confront Abhinav about it? Or, should she investigate further for some substantial piece of evience? Or, should she turn a blind eye to all this?
