As was mentioned earlier, S R Bose started as most journalists do; armed with leftist ideologies and with a will to do what is right, to make politicians accountable, to weed out corruption from the bureaucracy. Essentially, Bose started out as an idealist. He had all the elements going for him.
He was doing his masters in political science from Jawaharlal Nehru University in Delhi. He was part of the debate team and spent his free time researching on the political issues that plagued the nation. When he started out as a journalist, he started with the conviction that he would make a difference.
But all that seems like eons ago. What happened to SR Bose? What has made him bitter and hungry for money? Was his sense of righteousness lost somewhere in the past? What do you think?
