Jaikishan wakes up with his arms wrapped around Holly’s waist. As he extracts himself and sits up on the bed, he remembers that moment in Gaya when he asked Holly to stay with him. Holly was too taken aback to say anything at first. However, when she finally came to, she responded saying that, while she was really touched, she could not imagine spending the rest of her life in Gaya. However, she invited him to travel with her and her friends as they journeyed across India. They had set off together to Kolkata that evening. Now, it has been two days in Kolkata. They had spent the first day cooped up in the hotel room. Yesterday, they had ventured out to shop in New Market.
As he reminisces over the past couple of days, Holly slowly stirs from sleep. She looks up at Jaikishan and smiles. He asks her, ‘So, what does the Madam want to do today?’ She is amused by the way Jaikishan still addresses her as Madam. She responds to his question and says, ‘Victoria Memorial’.Would anything extraordinary happen in Jaikishan’s life when he gets to the Victoria Memorial? What do you think?
