It had been almost a week since that first date. Hari had not called or texted in the meantime. Latha had been anxiously waiting the whole time. Finally, she decided to send him a text herself. She drops him a ‘Hey!’ About 15 minutes later, her phone lights up. She hurriedly unlocks her phone, only to find another message from her service provider about the latest offer.
It is almost two hours later, when there is finally a reply by Hari. He says, ‘Hello. What’s up?’ She has absolutely no idea what to make of it. Was he being all nonchalant, or did that date really not
mean much to him?
What do you think Latha should conclude from this? Has Hari changed her mind about Latha?
