As the year was drawing to a close, Anuradha starts considering taking a holiday with her husband. Things between them had always come with the occasional ups and downs and the last time they had spent time together was before Arghya was born. That was two years ago.
The thought had struck her when she saw how well Arghya got along with her mother. They could have a short second honeymoon by themselves and her mother could easily take care of their son for them. Besides, they could both really do with a holiday from their jobs of pleasing people and spend some time away from the office.
However, she was a little concerned about what her in-laws would think of it, if they got to know that it was her idea to leave their precious grandson with Anuradha’s mother (whom they secretly reproached for the way she raised her daughter). She would have to make sure Sauvik does not tell his parents that it was her idea.
Talking to her mother seemed like a cake-walk. She was in on the plan as soon as she mentioned it. Soon they were trying to decide on the possible locations to holiday in. After much deliberation, they narrowed down to Kerala, Goa and Mumbai. Now, it was time to talk to Sauvik about the plan.
What do you think Sauvik’s reaction would be? And if they do decide to take that holiday together. Where would they head to?
