Two days after his first date with Latha, Hari’s classmate Anil was hospitalised following a road accident. He had been so busy and sleep-deprived over the next two weeks, he barely kept track of time.
Almost three weeks after their first date, he realises that he had received a text from her and that he had given her a nonchalant ‘Hello. What’s up?’ as a response. There were no more messages on that thread.
Oh, no. What was he to do now? Should he text her? No, that would seem like an after-thought. Maybe he should call her up. Finally, however, Hari decided to wait in front of Latha’s college after class to talk to her in person.
