After musing for a while, I decided to get back down to business. As the familiar buzz of employees entering reached my ears, I realized that the traffic must have provided hindrance to them as well. I shifted my position on the chair and reached forward to pick up the stack of envelopes that I had to open. A particularly big envelope caught my eye, but when I saw the familiar logo of that technological company, agitation crossed my head. This very company had been giving me a headache from the start, ever since they came up with that ‘new and improved’ technology. No company that we have ever collaborated with has ever been this persistent to the heights of stubborn.
I remembered the meeting last evening, in their office. The most prominent Heads of Departments of ‘HyperDrive’ had gathered there and, having the advantage of number, had tried to imply an idea of theirs on me.
This had been a very informal meeting, yet they were all present. This had struck me odd then, but I still had continued to listen to them. They, at that moment, had informed me slightly and off record that they had come up with a new engine which was both fuels efficient and non-polluting. I had been shocked but then, when I found out that what they meant was that it was all a sham. I considered it unethical and left from there without further discussion.
On the way from there, I had considered how this was all trickery and now, I am sure I was right. The last thing that iCaravan needed is a sham to shut it down. I sighed as I opened the envelope and found that they were just the monthly update of the supply transaction of ‘HyperDrive’ engines to the different factories of iCaravan.
This made me think, that if I refuse their proposal of this fake efficient engine, would they refuse to supply their engines to iCaravan? I scrunched my eyebrows and massaged my temples. Now I was stuck between losing the supply of engines from this company and doing what their unethical selves were forcing us to do.
What happens next? What do you think?
